Need for Kleemann Speed

Have you ever heard of a Mercedes E-class going 338 km/h. I thought most German cars were blocked at 250 km/h. Not with Kleemann A/S. They have tricks up their sleeves that bring engineering to a whole new level. Now imagine you're on the Autobahn going 338 km/h or 211 mph. Even most Porsches would have trouble keeping up. The truth is, Mercedes tuning is very competitive. Companies such as Brabus, AMG, Carlson, MKB and Kleemann all compete to make the greatest after-market tuned Mercedes. Individually, they all procude outstanding vehicles. However, Kleemann really takes Mercedes up the pyramid scheme. I would place them at the way top. One of the reasons is because of the worlds records they completed with the AMG E-class and the ML class.

Above is your regular E-class. It's a very popular Mercedes model. There is a lot of room, exquisite comfort and not to mention, it's very discrete. Underneath the hood, there is potential for serious horsepower, and that's where Kleemann comes into play. In 2002, Kleemann took an E-Class and transformed it into a four-wheel speed freak. Talk about professional tuning. This company's employees know Mercedes engineering inside out. This outstanding company took an E55 AMG and added some more spice to it. The E-55 is an SOHC V8, 5.4 l with 349 hp. They took the E class apart and rebuilt it from scratch. While rebuilding they added some mechanical cayenne pepper, chili power with a hint of cumcin horsepower explosion. Kleemann has the best recipes when it comes to cooking up a new and improved Mercedes. They are the Iron Chef of after-market Mercedes tuning companies.

Above on the left is the E 55 AMG on the right is the 2004 E55 K from Kleemann. It's also a V8. In terms of horespower it has 1.74 times more stallions than the AMG giving it 607 hp. Now AMG does incredible work, but when it comes to engineering, Kleemann is on top of the game. Topping at 338 km/h is absolutely incredible. Can you imagine yourself in a family car on the autbahn at that speed? Well, maybe not with the wife or kids. Although it would still be legal, there would be a lot of screaming, from everyone. This is why Kleemann used a professional driver and completed the record in a closed track. Smart move. Who knew that a Mercedes E class could reach such speeds? The Kleemann engineers were very optimistic and they were right to be. Their accomplishments point out just how much more developed Mercedes can be. The Benz company has more potential then they actually know. We should all be thankful Kleemann is hear to help. This after-market Mercedes tuning company can be alluded to a motivational speaker. And a Kleemann Mercedes take a few more steps up the horsepower ladder.

ML Performance:
The next year in 2003, everyone at the Danish tuning company had a better idea. They imagined just how far they go push the maximum speed of an SUV. So they took the ML 55 and gave it as dose of Kleemann ingenuity. The ML 55K reached 282 km/h (176 mph) thanks to expert engineering and the incredible Toyo tires.
My toyota Rav4 barely hits 165 km/h. The Kleemann standards of an SUV top speed is simply mindblowing. Most regular sedans cannot even reach 250 km/h. Once again Kleemann prevails and continues to surprise car fans.
